if i wrote what i thought and released it to the world i’m sure i’d be committed asap… and that’s just stifling. anyway, in efforts to be less connected artificially i’m going to text less and try to take more phone calls. i have also deactivated my facebook account for many a reason. i’ll make a list because numbers are cool:
- nobody cares about how cute you looked last night, where you were, or how drunk you got - it’s a part of life and we’re all familiar with it. we’ve all been there. we don’t need to rehash last nights events until the next rage-fest.
- out of the 71368797164916 “friends” i have on “fb” i actually, verbally, communicate with like 40 of them and 15 of them i probably only consider acquaintances.
- everybody wants what they can’t have. apparently “in a relationship” means “just try harder, they’re not married yet”.
- no thank you, i don’t care if these are people i may know, but if they are an ex or my current boyfriends past fling or ex i’m all set.
- lurkers. don’t add me because you want to look page to page and see who i know and how well i know them.
- inbox lurkers. if you don’t know me, don’t try to add me, and don’t send me creepy suave messages because i don’t want to date you.
that just about wraps it up as far as my main points go. lets use our voices and hang out in person. live in the moment. take everything in and appreciate those around you because it wont last forever. stop taking 5 min breaks every 10 minutes to update what you are doing. stop being so attached to your interwebz devices before you get hand cancer.
